THE CLASSIC — IF ANYONE GIVES IN TO CHILDREN'S TANTRUMS, IT'S GRANDMOTHERS. I WENT THROUGH A “NO, I WILL NOT EAT VEGETABLES” PHASE, AND SHE'D KEEP AVIAL ASIDE FOR ME, CAREFULLY SPOONING ALL THE VEGETABLES OUT OF A CUP, JUST FOR ME, ADDING EXTRA CURD TO MAKE SURE I HAD ENOUGH. EVENTUALLY I GOT OLDER, SO CARROT WAS ALLOWED, AND THEN BASICALLY EVERYTHING.
